Intermediate Interior Designer

A highly respected, design-driven architecture and interiors studio in New York is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join its collaborative team. The studio is known for producing thoughtful, contemporary multifamily residential and luxury hospitality, mixed-use projects where architecture and interiors are developed together from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior designers and project leads on multifamily residential and mixed-use interior projects

Assist in developing design concepts, material palettes, and interior layouts

Produce and contribute to Revit-based drawing sets, including plans, elevations, and interior details

Assist with custom millwork detailing and interior architectural elements

Coordinate with architects, consultants, and vendors throughout project phases

Participate in internal design reviews and contribute ideas to the wider design team

Support the preparation of presentations and project documentation
What They Are Looking For

4–7+ years of professional experience within an architecture or interior design studio

Experience working on residential, multifamily, or hospitality projects
-
Revit must be your primary software and used regularly for documentation

Strong understanding of interior architecture, materials, and detailing

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on project tasks

A proactive attitude and the ability to move projects forward in a fast-paced studio
